Sometimes a journey,
Though tiring and long,
Gets you to where
You are sure you belong.
The distance you travel
To visit a friend
Is worth all the effort
You’ve had to extend.
‘Cause when you’re together,
The time seems to melt;
And this reaffirms
Every good vibe you felt.
We should pay our thanks to
The roads that do lead
To the home of a friend;
They are good roads, indeed.
