Global Warming

White roses bloom
By the side of the river.
December’s half gone –
We’ve had barely a shiver.

Still haven’t put on
My jacket of down;
Snow’s on vacation,
Somewhere out of town.

I’m not complaining,
Just simply informing;
But how can somebody
Deny global warming?

I guess anyone can claim
What he believes;
But I think New Year’s Eve,
I’ll be wearing short sleeves!
