'Tisn't Yet the Season

Though it isn’t quite Thanksgiving,
Christmas goods have hit each store.
Every year this happens sooner
Than it did the year before.

It was warm today and sunny,
But fake snowmen did appear;
And some FM stations are already
Spreading Christmas cheer.

At least Chanukah is early,
So to me there is a reason
Why I should be getting ready
For this holiday-time season.

But if you’re expecting Santa,
Then you have a while to wait;
Though if you believe the stores, it’s time
To start to celebrate.
