Now a fallen hero.
Role models sure drop like flies;
We’ll soon be down to zero.

One by one they do succumb
To various temptations;
Sex or steroids, cash or fame
Can spoil their reputations.

Everyone can possibly
Become a lowlife cheater,
But I won’t lose faith until
I hear it’s Derek Jeter.
