Sometimes on the road of life,
No matter where you’re at,
You realize you’re not moving
‘Cause a tire has gone flat.
You cannot just ignore it;
It will not fix itself.
And unlike things like clutter,
You can’t hide it on a shelf.
It must be dealt with quickly;
The problem must be patched.
And if you’re far away from help
Your plans may just get scratched.
But often it’s a hassle
That requires some attending,
And then you’re on your way again,
The inconvenience ending.
And so you journey onward,
With tire fixed and steady;
But something else may trip you up
Of course, when you’re not ready.
Remember as you travel,
Wherever you have driven,
In life you have to handle
All the flats that you are given.
