It’s easy to do nothing –
Sit
at home and park your tush,
But
sometimes you must give yourself
A
not-so-gentle push.
And
so, on this delightful day
With
sunshine in the sky,
I
took the subway to a store
With
things I like to buy.
The
streets were filled with tourists
And
the shops festooned with lights.
I
stopped to see the Christmas tree
That
soars to dizzy heights.
It
wasn’t super crowded
And
I splurged and bought a dress.
My
little push gave me a day
Which
was a sweet success.
