At Dusk

Too light for night, too dark for day,
Dusk is in-between,
The time when those out walking
Without lanterns aren't seen.

Diurnal creatures settle down;
Nocturnal ones awake.
The sun and moon catch 40 winks
And give themselves a break.

Unlike the dawn, a spookiness
Gives dusk a tinge of fear,
A feeling that, just out of sight,
Some evil creatures leer.
