Sunday

Sunday always struck me as
The ending of the week,
The final chance for chores
Or the relaxing you might seek.

But calendars put Sunday first
As if it's at the start,
Which also means the weekend
Somehow splits itself apart.

Depending on your point of view
Perception surely bends,
So Sunday is the day the week
Begins or, maybe, ends.
