Identifying bodies
On
a show like C.S.I.,
On
scars and beauty marks
Or
dental fillings did rely.
Our
bodies, every one unique,
Have
freckles, dots and lines,
Arranged
haphazardly in ways
That
DNA designs.
Though
nowadays the morgue has
More
at hand from which to choose,
For
it must be much easier
To
track down one’s tattoos.
