Necessity is said to be
The
mother of invention
But
creativity, as well,
Takes
on a new dimension
When
there are lots of hours at hand
With
room for contemplation;
A
wisp of an idea may sow
The
seeds of innovation.
Our
former lives were occupied
With
work and school and travel,
Such
busy-ness our knotted brains
Had
no chance to unravel.
But
extra time within the day
Lets
whimsy glow and glisten,
Igniting
those creative sparks
Since
we have time to listen.
