Unless it’s Super Bowl, I don’t
Like
football on TV
When
there’s a gathering involving
Friends
and family.
When
someone else is in control
There’s
nothing you can do
But
listen to commercials
And
the game when it breaks through.
Any
conversation ceases
And
whoever’s in the room
Gets
bombarded by the nonsense
Some
enjoy, I would assume.
If
the purpose of the party
Is
to watch, I will not scoff
And
I’ll join the viewing; otherwise,
The
TV should be OFF!
