I put a little make-up on
To
see my friends on Zoom
‘Cause
magnified, my wrinkles,
Baggy
eyes and neck do loom.
Though
months have passed since I have felt
The
need to line my eyes,
Some
recent photos woke me up
To
not a nice surprise.
I
think mascara helps a bit,
As
does a little blush.
Believe
me – “You look fabulous!”
No
one’s about to gush.
My
husband took one look, though
And
exclaimed, “What did you do?”
But
when Zoom began, I smiled to see
My
friends with make-up, too!
