From the Stage

Looking at an audience
From up there on the stage,
There is magic that I really can’t explain,
A joy and deep contentment
That the words upon this page
May attempt to show but it will be in vain.

For only those who try it
Will appreciate the thrill
That performing brings to those who take the leap
And that feeling’s one to treasure
So I hope I always will;
It’s a memory that I intend to keep.
