When getting together on Zoom,
It
seems like we’re in the same room.
You
might say just a face
Could
in no way replace
Someone’s
presence or warmth or perfume.
Yet,
to me, the connection appeals,
For,
though such a small picture conceals
The
whole body below
What
that square gets to show
Is
enough to know how someone feels.
Sure,
it’s better when hugs are exchanged,
But
a Zoom can, with ease, be arranged.
There’s
no travel involved
So
such problems are solved
And
the latest news gets interchanged.
