Plastic

England's joined a club of countries
Doing something drastic - 
They've disposed of paper money
And have switched to plastic!

Bills will last much longer
And a major benefit
Is that it's near impossible,
With these, to counterfeit.

Still, there will be many
Who will have to be consoled
When they make the discovery
Their cash they cannot fold.

And for all those creative types,
You might as well abstain
From using pounds and pence to make
An origami crane!
