In Rhyme

I'm a fan of symmetry
And that explains why I'm 
Obsessed with writing poetry
Exclusively in rhyme.

The rhythm helps me organize 
My thoughts in rhyming feet
On a plethora of topics
Which I rarely do repeat.

Though I play around with rhyme scheme
I admit that I am prone
To the one that's here before you
In my cozy comfort zone.

Many scoff at rhyming writers, 
Viewing all our work as fluff,
But I'm proud of my creations 
And, to me, that is enough.
