Making Plans

Plans today are often made
Without a spoken word,
A situation, though it works,
I still find quite absurd.

I often wonder, as I send
An email or a text,
Exactly what communication
Format will be next.

In future years, technology
Might yet be left behind
And making plans will happen
When we read somebody's mind!
